The SENDCo for Burfield Academy is Mrs. Amy Styles. Amy studied a bachelor’s degree in History of Art at the University of Reading and after working in several museums and galleries quickly realised she wanted to work with children. Amy went on to study a PGCE in Primary Education with the University of Buckingham in 2018. Amy has previously worked as a class teacher at Phoenix Academy in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Amy has many years of experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and achieved the National Award in Special Educational Needs Co-ordination in March 2023.
